About Me

Since I was nine years old, I have dreamed of being a storyteller, and I followed that dream to Cal Poly SLO, where I obtained a B.S. in Journalism. After that, I worked at Ranker for almost two years. I dove headfirst into writing and editing content and learned how to organize metadata for their website. By the time I was ready to move on from the position, I was able to churn out SEO-friendly copy guaranteed to draw eyeballs. Since then, I have edited video content and audited metadata for PBS | KCET SoCal. I have also contributed to multiple digital media websites such as Collider, Distractify, StyleCaster, and The Daily Dot. 

With my new role as a Lifestyle Reporter at The Independent, I hope to continue to finetune my voice and grow into the creative storyteller I am meant to be.
